Again I'm reviewing one of my all time favorite software 'Ares Galaxy'.
Ares is a p2p software or a file sharing client as popularly known. Ares was recently updated to version 2.1.2.3036 from 2.1.1.3036. The latest version of Ares has improved download speeds and chat functionality. The chat features has been upgraded to enable users to use avatars or profile pictures.The download speeds coundn't have been better!. I also compared Ares to Utorrent recently and was shocked to find
that it finished the downloads faster than Utorrent !. I tested it on 256KBps connection
with max downoad speed at 30KB/s.Utorrent took me 9hrs to download a 700mb movie. Whereas Ares took an amazing 6hrs! You can search for movies through Ares itself as well as or use .torrent files with it. Ares supports the BitTorrent protocol as well

NOTE : The movie downloaded in Ares was from Ares search and not torrent

Ever noticed the small search box in the top right corner in Utorrent ? The search box provides direct access to torrent search results. According to me it just claims it does ! Actually there are just Two search engines already given there 1)Google and 2)BitTorrent

1)Google - This basically a normal Google search and has nothing to do with torrents. eg :  I wrote August Rush in the search box , selected Google as the engine and hit enter. All I got was links to IMDB and Wikipedia ! and no Torrents !

2)BitTorrent : This is as useless as the previous one ! It just redirects you to the BitTorrent homepage and asks you to rent or buy movies !HUH !? (exactly the reason I'm using Utorrent for ! :P)

SO ! i found a way of adding popular torrent sites to the search box.
Steps : Click on Options>Preferences>Advanced>UI Extras

There you'll see a in a text box that links to Google and BitTorrent are given !
let them remain just add the text below to it

Torrentz | http://torrentz.com/search?q=
IsOHunt | http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=

After that check the search box for the additional search engines. Select any one and type the search you want and get direct link to torrents

Google says Happy new year !! Press the I'm Feeling Lucky' button on Google search without writing anything on the search box and see what happens !!
